Broadturn Farm Wedding Photographer | Nate & Nova

Elegant, romantic and full of sass, Nate and Nova were married on Saturday, September 13th, 2014. It rained a little, but if you attended, you may never have known it, despite the open atmosphere. Nate and Nova were so much fun that weather was a minute part of the joyous occasion.

These two did it right. Nate and Nova completely embraced the authentic, rustic and organic venue. Their wedding details, colors, style, guests and happy attitude turned the farm into a whimsical retreat for all involved.

I can't tell you how refreshing their "ooey-sticky-goozing-over-the-top" love is. Sam, Nate's brother and best man, gave a speech that caught all of us, including me, bursting with laughter and in the middle of tears of happiness and hilariousness. I must give him credit for the newest addition to my "love descriptors" vocabulary (see above).

Nova's maid of honor, Nicole, was sweet and loyal. Her nervous words were encouraging, sincere and full of pride. They've been best friends, arguably sisters, since the beginning.

The locavore flavors and vendors show the couple's dedication to Portland and the local flare we have going here. Unique, fun, easy-going personalities meshed perfectly together. Dancing was an activity for all and seemed only the beginning of many fun times together with family and friends.

There is no doubt in my mind that these two are meant to be and that this is their time. The sweetest eye contact, the inside jokes, the support of all members of the family and the fact that the only tears shed on their wedding day in September were always accompanied by a smile.

All the very best to you both, Nate & Nova!!
