Talk about meant to be... not only are Kelsey + John the most wonderful pair, but their wedding day could not have been more perfect, fluid, fun, and unique! We visited three different towns, had incredible weather on the Eastern Prom for their ceremony at Fort Allen, had an abundance of trolley ride stops, and everything was still wonderfully on time.
My heart could have burst as Kelsey + John had their first look at the Maine Audubon in Falmouth. John's mom guided him to her, blindfolded, until just their bums and hands were touching. The immensity of this moment is certainly one I will never forgot. Yes, there were tears, but the physical anticipation, attraction and love between these two was the most beautiful thing in the world. What a relief when they decided to see each other and go into the marriage and ceremony together... as a couple.
This is really all just a testimony to Kelsey + John and how well they work together. They compliment each other in so many ways, and yet they challenge each other, or at least Kelsey challenges John-- according to John's best man-- in all the right ways. Kelsey's maid of honor and sister skipped the traditional speech and wrote a personalized rap about Kelsey + John to the beat of Eminem's "Real Slim Shady." I certainly had momentary fits of laughter at the cunning and wit of it all!
